BEAU TARDY (American-French)
Paris born French - American artist Beau Tardy began his art career in 1984 in New York City. He attended Parsons School of Design and attended the first ever computer graphics class given there. He became involved in the East Village art scene getting his work published in the seminal East Village Eye and participating in group shows with artists Gary Panter and Wayne White.
After dropping out of art school and moving to Paris he joined art collective Mano-Mano to do street art, graffiti, billboard subversion and art performances.
Beginning in 1987, he became increasingly involved in electronic imagery, digital art, video and television, garnering a French Ministry of Culture art grant for his 'Electronism' project.

In New York in the early 90s he was hired by the on-air graphics department at MTV where he animated graphics and show opens for MTV News, Yo! MTV Raps and The Real World. In 1996 Beau founded Dizzy Worldwide, a TV and computer graphics studio whose clients are major cable TV networks and advertising agencies. Dizzy Worldwide has won many industry awards including Gold BDA, Silver Telly Award & Communicator Award of Distinction.

Beau has shown paintings, installations and digital art internationally including the Barcelona Biennale, Sydney, Australia, the Contemporary Art Center in New Orleans, Houston, Paris and New York.

Beau Tardy est un artiste américain né à Paris, en France, dont le parcours artistique a débuté par un passage à la Parsons School of Design en 1984 à New York. Après avoir quitté cette école, il s’est impliqué sur la scène artistique de l’East Village et a été publié parmi d'autres dans le magazine creuset de l’époque, le « East Village Eye » et a participé à plusieurs expositions et manifestations collectives.
